Get help with Billings

Billings 2.5.1 contains several fixes and is a free update for Billings 2.x users.

Additions

• Added feature so that any running timers will be paused when another timer is started. One timer policy
• You can now put Group Bys, Tables and Text Areas directly into print layouts and report Bodies now. You no longer need to put a Strip first. When you use this new technique, the element will stretch to match the Body's width automatically

Fixes

• Fixed issue where negative time is being entered in the time entry when coming back from being idle
• Fixed issue where Client list sorting does not mix lowercase and uppercase names together, but rather uppercase names have precedence over lowercase names
• Fixed issue where sorting by organizations was not appearing correct when the Me card was an Organization in Address Book
• Fixed issue where drag and drop re-linking of slips was not linking the slip to the correct Project when the Projects list had a sort order applied
• Bilings resolves any issues where an invalid time slip type is associated with a slip. It notifies the user of the issue and gives them a chance to review any fixes that have been made
• Fixed issue where when sending a project over from Daylite and asked to select a Billings client in the picker sheet and no client is selected and then continue is pressed, Billings crashes
• Fixed issue where hitting the 'return' key while entering a comment in the Send Invoice/Estimate windows would cause the Invoice/Estimate to be sent rather than adding a newline to the comment
• Fixed issue where you could not bulk edit comments for working slips
• Fixed issue where selecting New Project from the Client's list contextual menu when All Projects was selected caused an exception
• Fixed issue where editing a newly created project on a client who did not have any projects, caused the project to disappear from the projects list
• Fixed issue in the Blueprints preference pane where the Add/Edit/Delete buttons were not updating their availability based on selection
• Fixed issue in the Billed & Collected report as the Collected amount was not being displayed
• Fixed issue where the Loose Slips project was not being automatically created for the primary user if it had been deleted
• Fixed issue where a not linked slip can be linked to nothing (and then become inaccessible) if no projects exist and no projects are selected in the punch out window
• Fixed issue where the projects list status bar was not being updated when switching between clients and the selection index of the project did not change, or when a slip was added or deleted, etc...
• Fixed issue where generated invoice pdf's stored for database copy were being stored in the Estimates folder rather than the Invoices folder
• Fixed issue when you switch between "all projects" and a client, repeatedly over and over, the columns add 3 pixels eatch time and column grows and grows
• Fixed issue where taxes are not respected when creating a slip from a blueprint
• Fixed issue where the OK button on the Create Blueprint form Slip sheet did not respond to the return key
• Fixed issue where Project and Slip Lists: Column resizing should not cause horizontal scrollbar to appear unless absolutely necessary
• Removed the "window" title from the database update window - it was not needed
• Improve the mechanism of how Group By�s split between tables in reports. It is still a bit touchy
• Fixed an issue where custom date formats where not being remembered for �current date� in the report engine
• Fixed an issue where strips within a box would not size the box properly after data extraction in the report engine
• Fixed issue where in the client details card the mileage type ie. miles and / miles , for mileage rate and mileage distance do not reflect whats in the preferences
